Toro Y Moi has confirmed his new album.
Titled ‘Boo Boo’, he teased the record by mailing fans a cryptic sheet earlier in the week. Now we’ve got a firm release date of 7th July.
Chaz Bear (officially changing his name with Chaz Bundick) explains he was influenced by Travis Scott, Daft Punk, Frank Ocean, and Oneohtrix Point Never. “I recognized that the common thread between these artists was their attention to a feeling of space, or lack thereof,” he writes.
