Arctic Monkeys may be one of the biggest bands on the planet, but secretly, beneath all the buzz, they’d quite like to run a shop.
That’s why (we presume) the quartet have announced a bunch of pop up stores all over the planet to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino’.
Six outlets will open over the weekend, located in the band’s home town of Sheffield, New York, Sydney, Paris, Berlin and Tokyo. They’ll be shifting “unique and limited album and merchandise items”.
No news on if you’ll be able to pick up a stick on Alex Turner beard.
You can find more info, and opening hours for the stores, here.
‘Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino’ is set for release this Friday, 11th May.
