Trash have a new EP on the way; their latest self-titled effort is due out next week, on Friday 11th August via Clue Records.
Before then, they’ve been debuting tracks one at a time – and today you can hear rousing indie-pop tune, ‘Make Up Your Mind’; a pep talk via catchy guitar hooks.
“I was 18 when I wrote ‘Make Up Your Mind’, hence the lyric ’18 and fed up, you’re bored of the same old routine, not happy about who you’ve been’,” Daniel Longmore explains.
“I was transitioning from college to university and the idea of ‘growing up’ begin to scare me. I’d sit for hours and reminisce about the carefree little bubble we called childhood.
“And then I realised that creativity has no age or boundaries, and dreams are made to be chased until the day we die, no matter how unrealistic they may seem. Anything is possible.
“‘Just make up your mind. Your dreams aren’t gonna find you, but they’re still there to find’.”
