Trent Reznor hints at Nine Inch Nails return: “2016 is not over yet”

He’s also shared a snippet of music from the film Before the Flood.

Nine Inch Nails have been maybe/maybe not coming back all year, thanks to frontman Trent Reznor hinting before Christmas that there was “New NIN coming in 2016”.

Well, nothing’s surfaced yet – but he’s hinted once more that the band may have plans underfoot. In response to a fan on Instagram asking where the new material was, he replied: “2016 is not over yet”.

In other Reznor news, he’s also Instagrammed an excerpt of new song ‘A Minute To Breathe’, which he wrote for upcoming film Before the Flood – and definitely isn’t new NIN. Check it out below.

Nine Inch Nails’ last album was 2013’s ‘Hesitation Marks’, with Reznor also contributing to the soundtracks of several films, including Gone Girl and The Social Network.
