Trudy and the Romance share “coming of age” track, ‘Is There A Place I Can Go’

50s-indebted pop sparkle.

Trudy and the Romance have shared a new track.

Once again showcasing their 50s-inspired pop, ‘Is There A Place I Can Go’ is taken from their upcoming Junkyard Jazz EP, out 17th November.

It’s “a love song about family, friends and coming of age in the new world. It’s a juvenile ballad using all the spank and tools we had to make the biggest bang.”

The EP’s full track listing is as follows:

1. Seashore Overture
2. Twist it, Shake it. Rock & Roll
3. Junkyard Cat
4. Ruff Ryder
5. Is There A Place I Can Go

The band play Always the Sun Festival this weekend, By The Sea later this month, and then head out on a bunch of tour dates across October and November.
