Two Islands drop their latest pop banger, ‘Still Life’

The mysterious Liverpudlian group follow up their debut, ‘Heaven’.

The mysterious Two Islands have returned to deliver an addictive slice of indie-pop; ‘Still Life’ is high impact, infectious and serves well to build even more intrigue around the elusive Liverpool-based act.

“We want to reclaim the romance of falling in love with an artist solely through their songs, something that has been lost in the internet era,” the band explain. “We’re not looking to hide, we just want to engage through our music. We are Two Islands.”

Grabbing attention from the offset and maintaining it throughout, ‘Still Life’ epitomises nostalgia pop with a modern edge, a sound that’s becoming increasingly popular of late. The track follows their debut ‘Heaven’ from earlier this year, but marks a noticeable step forward in their sound and delivery.
