If you keep a spreadsheet of everything to be excited about over the next week to ten days (just us? – Ed), you’ll want to update it with some new info. Interpol are back, and they’re giving us new music. Tomorrow.
The band have been teasing in various forms on social media over recent days, but now we’ve got an exact time and date for their return – namely around 4:30pm tomorrow, 7th June. We think. Time zones and that.
The trio are also set to appear on US telly later this week, ‘FYI’.

In truth, we know a little bit more about what’s coming from the band thanks to the latest issue of Q. You’ll have to go pick it up for the full scoop (which you absolutely should – support more-than-decent print music media, kids), but apparently their new album is titled ‘Marauder’ and will be with us this autumn. “Rock ’n’ roll bangers” are also promised. Sounds relevant to our spreadsheet.
