Vampire Weekend are back, and playing End of the Road this autumn

It’s their only UK festival for 2018.

End of the Road have announced loads of bands for 2018 this morning, and it includes Vampire Weekend playing their only UK festival set of the year.

The band have been working on a new album for ages now, with Ezra Koenig recently saying of the release: “Songwriting as a concept is the single most important thing on this record. To me, that’s the untapped frontier for Vampire Weekend; nobody wants to hear the Vampire Weekend trap album.”

Other confirmed acts include St Vincent, Feist, Yo La Tengo, Ezra Furman, Gruff Rhys, John Cale, Julia Holter, Destroyer, (Sandy) Alex G, Hookworms, Shame, The Low Anthem, Protomartyr. Julien Baker, and Childhood.

End of the Road will take place at Larmer Tree Gardens, from 31st August-2nd September. Tickets are on sale now at endoftheroadfestival.com/tickets.
