Warpaint are a courteous bunch. We know their third album is finished and there’s a big world tour on the horizon but now it looks like the band are giving us ample warning of its announcement.
Sharing a video which focuses on the Heads Up message alongside a snippet of new music, it’s probably time to start bracing yourself for the Warpaint Hype Train. Check it out below.
‘Heads Up’ is the rumoured title for Warpaint’s third album (which is rumoured to be out in September) and is the same phrase the band used to announce their upcoming headline tour.
Speaking to Beats1, the band let slip that the new album is “finished and just waiting to be released. Mixed and mastered. That’s all I know.”
“We did it really quickly for our standards. We made it in 4 months. it was really fun it’s a little more dancey, a little faster and groovier. It was exclusively made in Los Angeles, which the last record was not.”
Warpaint hit the road at the end of August. Dates as follows.
