The Warped Tour is coming to an end in 2018.
“Today, with many mixed feelings, I am here to announce that next year will be the final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour,” reads a statement from founder Kevin Lyman.
“I sit here reflecting on the tour’s incredible history, what the final run means for our community, and look forward to what’s to come as we commemorate the tour’s historic 25th anniversary in 2019.”
“To be honest, I’m just tired,” he further told Billboard.
Over the years, Warped Tour has hosted sets from bands such as Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, NOFX, Less Than Jake, Rancid, The Offspring, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World – basically everyone.
2017’s event booked Anti-Flag, Creeper, I Prevail, Knocked Loose, Memphis May Fire, Andy Black, Hands Like Houses, Beartooth, Counterparts, Silverstein and more.
