There’s no Glastonbury this year – you may have noticed. Because of that, the good ol’ BBC decided – rather than shift their wall to wall coverage to one of the other UK festivals – they’d expand their annual Big Weekend and make it, y’know, even bigger.
So, over the past few days, loads of huge names have been playing at various venues across the UK for BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend. At normal festivals, you don’t get Ed Sheeran opening stages, or Taylor Swift showing up for a quick 30 minute set – but in the world of major broadcaster organised events, anything is possible.
It also means loads – LOADS – of footage is available online. Including Las Vegas’ own Panic! at the Disco performing the live debut of new single ‘High Hopes’. It’s the latest preview of ‘Pray for the Wicked’, and Brendon Urie and co brought it’s singalong chorus and joyous brass to a rapturous Swansea crowd.
Check out the performance below, or treat yourself to Panic!’s full set here.
