Queens of the Stone Age rocked up to ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ on Tuesday to perform ‘Villains of Circumstance’ with a twist.
Josh Homme and Dean Fertita were joined by a full on string section for their performance to create a haunting orchestral version of the song. The performance is both stripped back and layered up, and holds onto all the darkness of the original track while giving it a classical edge. Watch it below.
‘Villains of Circumstance’ is taken from Queens of the Stone Age’s new album ‘Villains’, which also features the singles ‘The Evil Has Landed’ and ‘The Way You Used To Do’. Frontman Josh Homme has been pretty busy promoting the record, but also recently took the time to read a bedtime story to the kids of the UK on Cbeebies. Aw.
