St. Vincent dropped a new song this weekend.
Playing a show in Tokyo, Annie Clark debuted fresh cut ‘LA’, the second new song of what presumably will be a new album following up on the recently released ‘New York’. You can check out footage below.
In an interview with the Guardian, Clark talked about the song, claiming it was better if people didn’t know exactly what it was about. “I don’t love it when musicians speak about their records being ‘diaries’ or ‘therapy’,” she explained. “It removes that level of deep instinct and imagination that is necessary in order to make something that transcends.”
