Watch The National debut a bunch of new tracks in Paris

The band offered up ‘Nobody Else Will Be There’, ‘Guilty Party’, ‘Carin At The Liquor Store’ and ’Sleep Well Beast’.

The National performed four new tracks from their forthcoming album live last night.

The band were playing an intimate set as a lead up to their headline show at Paris’ Pitchfork Music Festival last night, with the show streamed online for those of us unable to be in the French capital.

As part of the show, the band offered up ‘Nobody Else Will Be There’, ‘Guilty Party’, ‘Carin At The Liquor Store’ and title track ’Sleep Well Beast’ from the record, which is set to arrive on 8th September. They also played the album’s lead single ‘The System only Dreams In Total Darkness’.
