You wanted a Waxahatchee album, well here comes a Waxahatchee album – with new LP ‘Out In The Storm’ confirmed to land on July 14th.
Marking the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Ivy Tripp’, the record comes with the surging lead track ‘Silver’ – full of that unmistakable driving edge and punchy tones that have made Waxahatchee a name to be reckoned with when it comes to unbridled cutting rock energy.
Chatting about the track, Katie Crutchfield revealed that “It’s about self-examination and the different shapes that takes, good and bad. I wanted it to be abstract and poetic, but I also wanted to align it with the other songs on the album, since they’re all so connected lyrically.”
Waxahatchee are set to return to the UK as a full band towards the end of the summer, with an already confirmed appearance at this year’s End Of The Road being followed by a headline run around the country – calling into London, Manchester, Leeds and Brighton at the start of September.
