If you’re going to do a cover, you may as well cover The Beatles, right?
That’s what Weaves have done, recording their own version of ‘Help!’.
“We recorded this when I was feeling a little bit of heartbreak and just stuck in a slump and the song really spoke to me,” vocalist Jasmyn Burke explains. “I asked Morgan if he’d be into trying to cover it so we spent a couple hours one day recording it in his little spare room studio. Like most people we love the Beatles, and I felt like those lyrics were living inside of me at the time so I wanted to try and personalise it. It was a really fun experience and an interesting experiment.”
