We’re bringing INHEAVEN, Stevie Parker, Ten Tonnes and more to The Great Escape for a bumper Friday night

That’s right, we’ll be building sandcastles at The Prince Albert on Friday (May 19th) for a stormer of a night

You like the seaside? We like the seaside. Whether it’s building sandcastles out of pebbles or eating WAYY to many chips because it’s a “trip away” – we blooming love it, and that’s what makes The Great Escape so special. So it only makes sense that we’re bringing the sparkles to a night at The Prince Albert with the likes of INHEAVEN, Stevie Parker, Ten Tonnes and more coming along for the ride.

Friday night is the big night right? That’s why we chose it to take over the Prince Albert – right in the hub of Brighton town with a spell-binding bill of absolute favourites and soon-to-be essentials for a party like no other. That’s right, we throw parties – and you can only imagine how massive they can be.

Striding out of the pack is INHEAVEN, a band we’ve been yabbering on about since day one (quite literally, they were slap-bang in the very first issue we ever made) and since then they’ve become unrivalled stars. Whether it’s latest stormer ‘Vultures’, or the fact they lead the way in our New Wave Of 2017 – INHEAVEN are destined for arena-filled euphoria and it’s only right that they come along for the fun at The Great Escape this year. Catch them in small venues while you can, you’ll be talking about that moment for years to come.

The Great Escape is a perfect moment to play host to the chilling refrains of Stevie Parker. Delivering in emotional and captivating moments, the moment we heard her unmistakable tone, we knew she had to be at the Dork stage – and that’s exactly what’s happened. Equally as unmissable is Ten Tonnes, someone we’ve been chatting about for a while now. Music runs in the family y’know, but things are about to get seismic on the Ten Tonnes front and we’re delighted that he wanted to come down for all the fun at the Prince Albert this year.

What’s that, we aren’t even done yet? That’s right – we have bonafide neo-soul sensation XamVolo, fizzy sensations Indigo Husk and closers Beliefs to boot – which basically means that Friday night at The Great Escape belongs at the Prince Albert. Trust us, the Red Stripe taste even better here than anywhere else.

This is a party you don’t want to miss.
