What happens when Foo Fighters and Weezer collide on stage? They cover KISS that’s what

The Foos were joined by Rivers Cuomo in the midst of their touring run together across Australia and New Zealand

When you heard that the Foo Fighters were bringing Weezer along for their tour around Australia and New Zealand – you probably imagined a whole range of possibilities of what could happen. We bet that them covering KISS together wasn’t on that list – but it certainly has happened.

Their tour rolled into Melbourne last night (January 31st), with Dave Grohl & Co inviting Weezer frontman Rivers on stage during their set to blast through the heavyweight rock anthem – with Rivers taking on those vocal duties like he was born to cover himself in makeup and dance in front of pyro.

Maybe next time eh?

Foo Fighters are in the midst of a mammoth world tour, which rolls into the UK for a performance at the BRITS later this month and then back in the summer for three huge stadium shows in London and Manchester (where they’ll be supported by some pretty cracking names).
