Wireless has consulted its binders full of women, and added a few more to this year’s festival

They’ve been corralled onto the all-female Smirnoff House stage.

Following a bunch of backlash for its pm all-male 2018 line-up, Wireless has booked a few more women.

All plonked on the same stage, Lady Leshurr, Quay Dash, Bad Gyal, Paigey Cakey, Trillary Banks, Barely Legal, Work It DJs and ‘many more’ will perform for Smirnoff House, curated by Rinse FM.

“The team behind SMIRNOFF is tackling gender inequality,” reads the press release blurb. “Now in its second year, SMIRNOFF Equalising Music is a 3-year, global initiative to escalate gender parity in the music industry by 2020 and redress the gender imbalance on club and festival lineups.”

This year’s Wireless will take place from 6th-8th July at Finsbury Park in London.
