Wolf Alice are sending people cryptic postcards – prepare for new music!

Bands don’t start posting you stuff unless they’ve got something new on the way.

It looks like Wolf Alice are definitively ‘up to something’ now, sending out postcards to fans.

The band are using snail mail to send the cryptic teasers, which feature what we’d assume are lyrics from forthcoming new material. Maybe. Who knows?

“Go heavenward like all earth angels should,” some say.

“I heard that journeys end in lover’s meeting, but my journey ends when my heart stops beating,” reads another.

“I hope you get to the place you’ve seen. I heard you talk about it, you called it purple and green”, goes a third, while another reads “Take me out to the future, just so I can look back into the past.”

Basically, they say all sorts, it’s all very lovely and we’ll be expecting a new song soon, guys. Later today will do.

If we were speculating, we’d suggest the names on the front of the postcards represent different tracks, with the handwritten messages lyrics from them. But speculating is foolish. Let’s just look at the pictures.

Here’s a whole bunch of postcards from that there Twitter.
