You might have noticed we’re of the opinion that Wolf Alice are a rather good band – but you don’t need to pay that much attention to us (eh? – Ed), when they’re providing evidence like this (oh, carry on – Ed).
Last night, the fab foursome appeared on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, playing a three song live set. As well as new cuts ‘Beautifully Unconventional’ and ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’, they also provided their own take on Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ cut ‘All Night’.
Explaining they thought they’d been faithful to the original, before listening back and realising “oh no, it’s shoegaze again”, you can check it out here. It’s the third track performed, and it’s really rather special. Bonus points for spotting the shout out to Dork’s Ali Shutler, delaying his Nandos in the name of new music. What a trooper.
Wolf Alice are set to drop their new album ‘Visions of a Life’ on 29th September. They’re hitting the road for an intimate UK tour this week.
