On paper, Wolf Alice covering Charli XCX with a side order of The Cure should be pretty much the best thing we’ve heard in 2018 so far. In reality, it could be even better than that.
The fantastic foursome have made a call in to triple j’s Like A Version. While there, they layed down a version of ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’, as well as the traditional ‘cover version’. Taking Charli XCX’s ‘Boys’, making it 110% Wolf Alice, then splicing it with The Cure’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, they’ve created audio gold. You can check it out below.
