Wolf Alice are set to battle the combined forces of Ed Sheeran at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards.
Nominated in the ‘Best Song Musically and Lyrically’ category, ‘Bros’ will go head-to-head with Ed’s ‘Bloodstream’, and the first act signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Music label, Jamie Lawson with ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’.
Elsewhere, Skepta’s ‘Shutdown’ is up for ‘Best Contemporary Song’, while Jamie xx’s ‘In Colour’ is up for the ‘Album Award’.
