Yassassin have released a creepy new video for ‘Mermaidistic Personality Disorder’

Yassassin have released a video for ‘Mermaidistic Personality Disorder’, a track from last year’s ‘Vitamin Y’ EP.

Co-directed/edited by Anna from the band, it’s an unsettling clip full of eerie characters and a possessed TV set…

“’Mermaidistic Personality Disorder’ reflects upon a dysfunctional relationship between two individuals who are both falling apart in one way or another,” the band explain. It’s a snapshot of their desperate love, imagined from an outsiders perspective.

“The video plays with the idea of merging different realities together and blurring the lines between what is real and not – the idea of becoming totally lovesick by someone. For the video we enlisted the help of Electra Fantasy, who performed at our EP release show with us and has become part of the song itself.”
