You can now stream the White Stripes first ever gig on Spotify

The set is from 20 years ago. Feel old yet?

On Bastille Day 1997, a little band called the White Stripes took the stage at an open mic night at Detroit’s The Gold Dollar. You heard of ’em?

Thought so.

Well, until now Jack ‘n’ Meg‘s set from that night has only been available to those with the good fortune to get their hands on a Third Man Vault Package. But guess what, Reader? It’s now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, so that you too may listen to it with your ears. Brilliant.

The set consisted of ‘St. James Infirmary’, ‘Jimmy the Exploder’ and ‘Love Potion #9’. Check it out below.
