Yung have released a new video for ‘Commercial’, a long that sets its sights on the ridiculousness of the promises made by advertising – check it out below.
Vocalist Mikkel Holm Silkier says of the track:
“I originally demoed it a couple of years back but didn’t really like it back then. When we where about to record the album it resurfaced out of the blue and made it onto the album.
“Lyrically it’s about the very strange effect advertising can have on you. Some TV ads can really light up your own appalling everyday life – but it’s all fake.”
It’s taken from the band’s new album ‘A Youthful Dream’, out now via Fat Possum / Tough Love.
