King Nun take the throne at Latitude 2017

All hail King Nun.

What do you do when your label mates are headlining the opening night of the festival you’re both playing? You come out and make sure everyone from the tent to the far reaches of the festival can hear you. King Nun waste no time in exploding on to the stage, in a flurry of noise and fast movement, with frontman Theo declaring succinctly, “We are King Nun and these are our songs”. No need for bloated introductions, that’s what the barrage of tunes is for.

‘Wet Wipe’, is quite literally a stomper. Theo bounds and leaps around the stage in time with its menace, while ‘Chinese Medicine’ goes for more of straight on rock assault. King Nun are masters of crafting savage tunes with a melodic undertone, resulting in a magical combination that’s impossible to refuse.

Careening through their set with unrelenting power, King Nun have no intention of slowing down. It’s not a even a footnote in grand their plan. All hail King Nun.
