The Horrors playing Dork’s Live At Leeds stage in an actual bloody church was always going to be special

Check out these photos to see what went down.

Dark and atmospheric. We could be talking about the aesthetic of some of indie’s mightiest heroes, The Horrors, or Leeds’ Church venue after the sun’s gone down, where the gothic overtones reign supreme. Add a hulking great big circular lighting rig and a crowd pumped from one of the first festivals of the season, and you’ve got something special.

That’s what went down at the climax of the Dork stage bill at this year’s Live At Leeds festival this weekend (5th May), as Faris and co. closed down the day for us. We’ll have more from the day very, very shortly – but for now, check out these snaps of the band’s headline set.
