Danish trio Baby In Vain have been slowly making a name for themselves over the last couple of years, and with their mix of styles, it’s not hard to see why.
Today on The Lock Up, however, while their thick and at times unnerving sound is still prominent, the live show feels a bit lacking. While it’s likely just because they’ve an early afternoon set, on the final day, which is an absolute scorcher to boot – and some of the crowd are still fairly enthused – the songs just pass by with no real stand out points.
That’s not to say Baby In Vain aren’t any good at what they do, but when you have a platform such as a slot at Reading, bringing out the big guns couldn’t hurt.
