Listen up Reading Festival, Deap Vally make themselves heard

Guitar, drums and one hell of a lovely racket.

Strutting onto the main stage, Deap Vally make damn sure they can be heard throughout the entirety of Reading. With one guitar making the noise of thirty, and a barrage of drums to boot. They’ve come here to conquer, plain and simple.

Their searing, blues-soaked sound takes no prisoners, getting increasingly more aggressive as the set barrels on. Busting through standout songs like ‘Royal Jelly’ and ‘Baby I Call Hell’, the California duo make more than a name for themselves to both the crowd they draw and those that join in after hearing the travelling chaos. Deap Vally are a force to be reckoned with.

As the set wraps up with a thunderous aplomb, Deap Vally leave the stage knowing that they’ve made enough noise for the world to know who they are, and what they believe in.
