Shame prove they’re the real deal at Reading Festival

Energetic punk fills the Festival Republic tent.

British punk has a set of new, fresh faces and their name is Shame.

Major Lazer is currently dominating the festival on the Main Stage, but in the Festival Republic tent, there’s a small crowd who don’t want to be a part of the masses – just like Shame.

Their energetic punk easily fills the space, while frontman Charlie Steen spends almost as much time off the stage as he does on. He beckons forward everyone in sight, making sure the entire crowd is engaged.

Behind him, the band bound and sprint around the stage. Never faltering in their delivery, Shame prove they’re the real deal – and make sure that everyone watching knows it.
