It’s official. They’re making a sequel to Space Jam!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will star LeBron James and be helmed by Fast & Furious and Star Trek Beyond director Justin Lee.
The original Space Jam, released twenty years ago in 1996, featured Michael Jordan and the cartoon cast of Looney Tunes. Rumours of a sequel stepped up after years of whispers when LeBron signed a film and TV deal with Warner Bros. last year.
Here’s a metal version of the Space Jam theme. Just because.
